Allan Poynter shows his knowledge, passion and skill for carving in the round (decorative decoys, birds carved from wood). On February 17th, 2009 Allan brought two hand carved, blue ribbon, award winning ducks , an American Wigeon and a Hooded Merganser. The decoys were carved in real life size, meticulously detailed, individual feather patterns and realistic life like hand painted finished. Overheard two members talking, "are those birds stuffed, are they the work of a taxidermist ?".
