Our Mission Statement
The primary purpose of the Suncoast Woodcrafters Guild is to promote the craft of the woodworking as a hobby and assist in the improvement of membership skills and abilities. Monthly Meetings will be held to encourage an open exchange of information about wood, woodworking tools and methods to provide an opportunity to share experiences, ideas techniques and mutual enjoyment for creating with wood.

The Woodcrafters Guild is a non-profit group of hobbyists promoting the craft and exchange of information about wood, woodworking tools and methods to improve member's skills and enjoyment for creating with wood. The Guild meets on the third Tuesday of the month (except July and August) at Chatelech Secondary School. New members are always welcome, see www.suncoastwoodcrafters.com.
Being community minded, the guild participates in an annual tradition in keeping with the Christmas spirit, build and donate special handcrafted wooden toys and gifts to Sunshine Coast Community Services Society for distribution to families across the Coast. With a generous grant from the Sunshine Coast Regional District, big hearted donations from Lehigh Materials and Sunshine Coast Community Forest, make it possible for the members to purchase materials to build these special toys and gifts. The Guild also participated at the Botanical Garden's Harvest Festival and Community Forest's Wood Expo.
